Mandatory vaccination requirements came into effect on the 17th of September 2021, and as health service providers to the Aged Care community, we abide by the decisions of our government and ensure that all Agenns staff are fully vaccinated.

We work in sync with our clients in our precautionary efforts against the spread of Covid-19 to our vulnerable community members. We do this through regular rapid antigen testing, appropriate use of PPE, staff training on Covid safety, and high standards of hygiene practices. We also encourage that our staff who are experiencing cold or flu symptoms to get tested and remain at home until symptoms pass.

Myth Busters

  • Garlic is well known for its nutritional value, and its ability to fight against viruses, bacteria and fungi. However, the evidence does not support the conclusion that eating garlic will prevent a person from acquiring and falling ill with coronavirus.

  • People became suspicious after seeing large towers being installed all throughout Australia while many were in lockdown. They came up with conspiracy theories connecting the two events together, concluding that the lockdowns were put into place so that the government can secretly install these 5G towers to increase the effects of the Covid virus by weakening the immune system.

There is scientific evidence however, to indicate the contrary. The Department of Health confirms research that states that mobile telecommunication services, including the 5G network to not weaken the immune system whatsoever.
